These photos were taken in an Armenian church – a visually stunning space because of the almost unparalleled retention of ancient customs — even customs which date back thousands of years to pre-christian times. The photographer loved the way the light played off of the interior, giving a mysterious and ethereal look. The photographer wanted to capture this greater than life quality in their photographs.
